Inspired by some of Rothko's work, this painting is a lovely piece within Tom Kranjacs' collection. When at NYU, Tom Kranjac's friend, Helene Aylon, a very talented artist who studied under Ad Reinhardt, knew others like Mark Rothko, and these associates inspired Tom to work in blocks of color.
