Collection: Seascape Number 1
The artist, Tom Kranjac painted this sea scape in 2015 shortly before he died. Comprised of vibrant blues, this painting depicts an ominous yet vividly beautiful sky reflective of the surf using almost opposite colors for each… The juxtaposition of colors communicates action and movement, unusual in static acrylic art form.
The painting has been converted to the book cover for 2021 publication of New Way To Grieve (thanks to Steven Funaro) by the artists’ wife Paulette Kranjac.
New Way to Grieve has been endorsed by therapists, hospice experts and clergy. Words and messages used to describe the book include “uplifting, hopeful, empowering, life-giving and life-changing"...that the book provides "scores of helpful suggestions and exercises designed to assist anyone going through grief, normalizing their feelings be they from a place of anger, guilt, denial, despair...and to acknowledge the gratitude we have for those in our lives right at this very moment and as much as possible, living life to the fullest and being present to it.”
Inasmuch as the author, Paulette Kranjac has discovered a New Way To Grieve, and is committed to helping others so that they do not have to suffer as much as they do, she will provide a portion of the proceeds of the sale from this artwork piece on prints and product, to help widows and families who have endured the death of a close loved one.
Thank you.
